New Smyrna Speedway hosts several major racing events that attract drivers and fans from across the country. The most notable is the World Series of Asphalt Stock Car Racing, a multi-day competition held each February that brings together many of the best short-track drivers in North America. 

Throughout the season, the speedway also features championship races, special challenge series competitions, and long-standing traditions that continue to shape the track’s legacy. The track is also part of the NASCAR Advance Auto Parts Weekly Series, showcasing talented regional drivers competing on the high-banked half-mile oval.
