    Birds, Bugs & Blossoms
    Instructor: Heather Pastor
    Week 1, June 6th Monday-Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm
    Ages: 6-11
    Inspired by the love of nature and all living things- plants, animals and even ourselves- children will experiment with a variety of mediums to create wonderful 2D & 3D art pieces.

    Teens Gone Loose with Watercolor

    Instructor: Sheri Zanosky
    Week 1, June 6th Monday-Thursday 1:30am-5:30pm
    Ages: 12 & up
    Students will learn the art of watercolor painting by creating whimsical watercolor wildlife. Monday, Beachy Critters, Tuesday Jungle cats, Wednesday wild patterned animals, and Thursday Teens choice! Get Loose. Not your grandma’s watercolor class!

    Robots & Donuts!

    Instructor: Eliza Midgett
    Week 2, June 13th Monday-Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm
    Ages: 6-11
    Children will combine the styles of both DaVinci and Pollock to create their own unique artistic robot.
    Students will also construct life-like “donuts” from paper mache’ and other materials inspired by Wayne Theibaud’s deliciously artistic desserts.

    NEW CLASS
    Hand Embroidery
    Instructor: Elaina Johnson
    Week 2, June 13th Monday- Thursday 1:30-5:30pm
    Ages: 12-up
    Learn hand embroidery techniques for decorative sewing projects! Students will learn traditional stitches paired with modern techniques to add texture and dimension. Embroidery is an engaging and affordable craft with limitless space for personal creativity.
     

    Amazing Abstract Mixed Media!
    Instructor: Eliza Midgett
    Week 3, June 20th Monday-Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm
    Ages: 6-11
    Children will use a combination of materials to create a very UNIQUE & colorful weaving.
    Come take a journey into the world of COLOR as we create large multicolored mixed-media portraits Inspired by Artist Silberzweig.

    NEW CLASS

    Pantomime
    Instructor: Mike Philips
    Week 4, June 27th Monday-Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm
    Ages: 6-11
    In this summer camp class, your child will learn basic stage pantomime skills. They will play acting games and be engaged in techniques to develop non-verbal communication. Your child will collaborate with other students by writing, rehearsing, and producing an original pantomime play. Little to no acting experience is required.  Last day of class will conclude with a live performance for ages 6-11.

    Improvisation
    Instructor: Mike Philips
    Week 4, June 27th Monday-Thursday 1:30am-5:30pm
    Ages: 12 & up
    The student will learn basic improvisation acting skills. Students will be engaged in techniques on improvisation and ad-libbing. Your child will collaborate with the other students and produce an original improvisation performance.  Little or no acting experience is required. Last day of class will conclude with a live performance.

    Creatures & Characters
    Instructor: Lisa Carlson
    Week 5, July 11th Monday-Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm
    Ages: 6-11
    It’s time for creative campers to invent their own characters and creatures inspired by popular film (Tim Burton, Disney & Pixar), monsters and Magna. They will draw, paint, work with clay, sculpt & more to bring a portfolio of imaginary, original creatures to life! (Ages 6-11).

    Art Explorations
    Instructor: Lisa Carlson
    Week 6, July 18th Monday-Thursday 9:00am-1:00pm
    Ages: 6-11
    Here’s a camp for any young artist that loves to create and try new materials to showcase their unique vision! Each day campers will be introduce a new technique and a new medium to explore. We’ll sculpt, paint, paper mache, make prints, work with fiber and more for hands on learning geared to exploration of media as the primary goal. Dress for mess (Ages 6-11).
