Athena Queninoers 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★I took my kids here for the first time and we loved it. We got a personal tour as well as had time to walk around and talk about the paintings. The artifacts were great as well.

Melinda Cummings 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★I went to see artist, Anthony Foster’s exhibition opening at the African-American museum. It is a fascinating place with art and artifacts from Africa and the Caribbean. Mr. Foster’s work was fabulous, and we enjoyed hearing about the history of the museum from its curator, and Tony Foster’s talk about his artistic journey.

Diane Schmidt 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Definitely worth the time to capture history. The Museum is small right now; though they are planning to expand on their property very soon. Ms Mary, the Director, schedules events that are most interesting. The Quilt showing was phenomenal. They even have a tiny gift store with very tasteful jewelry at reasonable prices. Their amphitheater holds the local poetry contests. Highly recommend.
