A wonderful hidden gem! This is the perfect restaurant to relax and enjoy an amazing ocean view. I started with the conch fritters, a traditional Bahamian appetizer, and they were excellent. For my entrée, I had the shrimp and calamari served with spinach and tomatoes, and it was absolutely delicious. If you’re visiting the area, don’t miss this place—it’s a little hidden, but it’s definitely worth finding!
Jul 21, 2026 · Google ReviewThe Dune Deck Café is a great spot right on the water. Despite a 50-minute wait to be seated on Sunday around noon, it was absolutely worth it. Overall, we had a very enjoyable experience and would definitely return to try more items from their extensive menu. One of the highlights is that breakfast is served all day on weekends, giving you plenty of options no matter when you arrive. We were seated around 1:00 p.m., and the atmosphere was quite lively—perhaps even a bit noisy. I imagine a weekday visit might offer a more relaxed experience. That said, there was plenty of shade, and the beautiful weather—clear blue skies and 80-degree temperatures—made the setting even more enjoyable. Our server did a solid job. He was clearly very busy attending to multiple tables, but he made sure we had everything we needed. While we didn’t get much personal interaction perhaps to how busy he was, his service was efficient and attentive. He still earned a well-deserved tip. The coconut shrimp were excellent—perfectly cooked with a delicious dipping sauce. I would absolutely order them again. The Caruso steak sandwich was prepared well, with the steak cooked to medium. However, it would really benefit from a signature sauce to elevate the flavor. While A1 steak sauce and ketchup are available, they don’t quite enhance the experience of what could be a standout sandwich. Creating and branding a house-made sauce could not only improve the dish but also serve as a unique selling point. The fries were simple but did their job. I would order a different side next time. The fresh catch platter featured mahi-mahi that day. While this was my guest’s selection and I didn’t try it myself, it was well-presented and looked appealing. That said, based on the menu variety, I would be inclined to explore other dishes or daily specials on a return visit. For dessert, we tried the key lime pie. It was good, with small, thin pieces of lime mixed throughout, adding a nice texture. Overall, this was a great experience. I highly recommend visiting with friends, enjoying the oceanfront setting, and taking a walk along the beach while you wait or after your meal. We will definitely be back to explore more of the menu.
Mar 23, 2026 · Google ReviewOur family had breakfast at Dune Deck this morning, and it was an outstanding experience from start to finish. Every dish we ordered was delicious. The filet mignon was perfectly cooked, the omelets were fresh and flavorful, and the bacon, egg, and cheese croissant was excellent. The standout was the day’s special: the crème brûlée French toast. I’ve never had anything like it before—it was absolutely divine and easily one of the best breakfast dishes I’ve ever tasted. The restaurant itself was spotless, including the bathrooms, which were clean and refreshingly well air-conditioned. The beachfront view couldn’t have been more perfect and made for a relaxing, enjoyable morning. What truly set Dune Deck apart was the exceptional staff. Every employee we encountered greeted us with a genuine smile, welcomed us when we arrived, and wished us a great day as we left. That level of hospitality made us feel appreciated and added so much to the overall experience. After breakfast, our kids had an amazing time playing on the beach just steps away from the restaurant, making it the perfect way to spend the morning.
Jul 5, 2026 · Google ReviewLocation. Location. Location! Need I say more? We were in town visiting family and having a tour of Palm Beach when this restaurant was suggested. It was a spectacular experience! The day was sunny, breezy and cool in mid February. We watched surfers and birds while enjoying conversation. The atmosphere was relaxed. I ordered the grilled octopus and it was everyone's favorite. If you are in the area this is a "definite must" place to stop.
Feb 21, 2026 · Google ReviewA great place to bring friends or family visiting the area. After arriving during a busy time on a Sunday, we were seated within 5 minutes. The service was quick and friendly. Outdoor seating, and decent spacing between tables. The food was immaculate, and they have plenty of options to choose from. Waffle, steak sandwhich, and a chicken salad were all great! The steak itself in the sandwhich was not too flavorful, but the Waffle was tremendous! Overall, pricey but worth it for the food and convenience.
