Really nice and easy loop trail. It is fairly short (around a mile) but has great scenery and a couple bridge crossings. Trail is well maintained and clearly marked with white trail blazes. Great family-friendly hike. It is right across the street from Circle D Ranch Preserve, so you can easily go for a longer hike by adding in those trails, as well.

This is one of those out of the way great places to walk. You could drive past it without even noticing it. We almost did but I did a u-turn to check it out. A dirt parking lot with a bit of signage. I like that it’s a loop trail that is about 1.5 miles long. The trail changes from dense woods to open fields. There is a bridge out but a 2x10 is across the small stream. It’s easy but some people might not like going across it. It’s a nice walk without many people.

I ventured out here after some rain so it was pretty muddy. In the 1.5 miles you experience just a few of the many faces of florida, from open area of pines and cactus, to oak trees and shrubs crowding you, to wet muddy areas. It was an exciting adventure and so quiet too!

Short loop trail. Parking lot holds water (needs to be fixed). Good size parking lot. No amenities.

Just went on a hike about a week after the end of hunting season. Someone had field dressed a wild pig just a few dozen feet from the parking lot and there were shot gun casings everywhere. Disappointing that hunters are not being considerate. Other than that, it was a pleasant hike. A lot of diseased pine near the hwy, but once you get into the palms it's beautiful.
