George SpalholzGreat place to take the 4 legged friends, the walk to the beach is probably around a half mile or so, be prepared to walk. Morning time is busier than during the day as the weather is cooler.

Kim FocaClean, fun, great concept and thought out! However, the walk itself is not adult dog friendly and why are people allowed to fish on a DOG beach? One and done for us. They really had a great time too! So that’s unfortunate

Kelly AshleyThis is the best dog beach in Volusia! So many happy dogs and humans, beautiful dunes, and friendly park staff keeping the doggos safe. We love the natural trail leading to the beach. Be aware, there are lots of gopher tortoises on the sides of the natural trails; do not let your dog harass them (illegal as they are a protected species). Also, the boardwalk leading to the dog beach is HOT most hours of the day. Best to bring a cart for bigger dogs or carry smaller dogs during the heat. This is a leashed dog beach, but there are plenty of people who do not have control over their unleashed dogs, so keep your eyes out and try to avoid them if you’re dog isn’t super friendly.
