J. RayVery well preserved houses and area. Scenic views. Nice pier. Kayak launch. Nice boardwalk/concrete walking path. Outhouse style restrooms are actually not that bad and didn’t smell bad like most. Incredibly beautiful moss draped trees and other flora and fauna. Nice signage. Audio tour if interested. Need to call if you want to go inside. Worth a visit.

Judy McConnellBeautiful place by the water. The house was closed when we were there due to staffing issues, so if you want to see the inside of the house, call before you go. It's a small park setting with a half mile sidewalk around the property. It is an easy walk with waysides along the way. The park is open sunrise to sunset according to the sign posted at the entrance. When we were at the Visitor Center, we were told there was a locked gate. We took a chance and went there anyway. Good thing, because there is no gate. The park has bathrooms at the parking lot, and there is no lighting at night, so make sure you go before sunset.

Jo Beth LatimerThis is a beautiful rest stop. There is a place to launch your kayak. Benchs, walking paths and restrooms. The view of the river is beeath taking. There is ample parking with several handiicap spots avaiable and room for rv and trailers.

MPeaceful and beautiful! Learn about the ancient history of the Native Americans with a short stroll on wooden walkways. There is a dock, as well as pretty views of the waterway. The two yellow buildings were still closed during our visit, but that did not deter from the enjoyment of the visit. We spent about 20 minutes here.
