MajesticMthrFkr69Shenadoah Stables was one of the highlights of our trip! We have three kids, including a 3-year-old, and they were all able to safely feed the horses. If you're looking for a fun, free activity, they welcome visitors to bring apples and carrots to feed the horses. We brought two bags of apples and two bags of carrots, and the horses absolutely loved them! They also offer paid experiences like horseback riding, so there's something for everyone. The ranchers were incredibly kind and welcoming. I especially loved hearing that the owner has been doing this for decades—it really shows in the care and passion they have for the horses. Knowing these horses are rescued and so deeply loved made the experience even more meaningful. It was my husband's and our kids' first time being around horses, and they were completely amazed. Seeing the kids' faces light up with excitement and wonder was something we'll never forget. This experience exceeded all of our expectations, and visiting a place like Shenadoah Stables will absolutely become a must-do on our future trips whenever we have the chance. Highly recommend!

WalkingWizard1994This was mine and the kids first time interacting with horses and it was awesome! The handlers were very nice and courteous, we called a day before to ask if we could just come visit and feed them some snacks and they obliged us. We brought them some carrots and apples and these horses blew us away! They are rescues and retired rodeo horses and they were very calm and very approachable. They even let my 3 year old feed them! We met Sissy, Spanky, and Sky in the stables. There 5 others, including this blue eyed horse names Cherokee, but they went on a ride right as we showed, ao we left a bag of treats for them too. The ranch is as simple as could be and it works. Its nice country ranch, with nice country folks, and a beautiful piece of heaven out in Florida. If we ever find ourselves in this neck of the woods again, we will definitely stop by to see these folks again!

faith harterThis place should be more popular. My boyfriend and I are amateur riders and this was the absolute perfect place for a trail ride. Our guide Sue was so helpful in going over the ropes(literally) & kept us going at a pace we were comfortable with. The owner is so sweet and truly cares about her horses. Their volunteer is an amazing artist who is painting the most beautiful murals around the stables. I would recommend this family owned farm to anyone in the area looking for a relaxed, quiet time in the Florida woods with gorgeous respectful horses.

Kristyn SanchezAlane and Sue are amazing at what they do. I went on a trail ride with my mom and it was such a wonderful experience. The horses are well-trained and clearly very well cared for. You can tell they truly love what they do. I would gladly come back again and highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a great riding experience. I really enjoy being there.

W. Brad GillespieI took my daughter to Shenandoah Stables for a Father's Day trail ride and we had an absolute blast. The staff was very friendly, helpful and inviting. The horses were super sweet and gentle, and the trail was a lot of fun & shaded from the heat of the day. The prices are also very affordable. This was a GREAT way to spend a morning and we will definitely be back very soon. Thank you Shenandoah Stables!
