Crystal MayLoved it here! So many trails and beautiful sights, and we saw lots of manatees, close-up too! I think there were about ten of them that came to say hello. Just note parking is $25 for a week, or $70 for an annual pass.

MJ RussellPlease do not ruin the natural setting and old Florida site. It used to be a stop for a paddle wheel boat on the river. Mosquitoes thrive near the ground but the second floor is free of them. Good fishing off the dock. Artists have painted the setting and it’s popular at the Winter Park Art Festival. Look in the sand to see what wildlife live in this secluded spot. I hope there is minimal development here. It is vulnerable to hurricanes so that may save it.

Joe GilchWow!! A lot of history in a small house. Friends group man the home and provide a video which was lost initially but rediscovered during the 50th Anniversary celebration. Also a lot of knowledge in the gentleman that was there for our afternoon visit. Even kind enough to take our photo in front of the house. Great National Park, Eldorado was a surprise for us!
