AnastasiaWe recently visited Turtle Mound, and it turned out to be an unexpectedly beautiful spot. As you walk along the boardwalk, you don’t expect to end up at such an elevation for this type of landscape. At the top, the views are absolutely breathtaking - peaceful, open, and wonderfully quiet. We were especially lucky to visit during a time when there were lots of butterflies, which made the experience even more magical. Parking is available along the road, and there are almost always spots open. The park entrance fee is a bit on the pricey side (around $25), but we definitely didn’t regret visiting this amazing place. Highly recommended for anyone who loves the coast, nature, and calm, scenic locations

Tammy BayerLocated within Canaveral National Seashore, you need to have a park pass or day pass to enter. Very unique location. And quick little walk to see the mounds.

C BOne the more beautiful parks I’ve been too. This can get humid being surrounded by water so be prepared and have ice water or something to cool off. Lots of wildlife and lots of trails.
