Casey BeckWe had an amazing family meal at Maiwi’s Latin Fusion in New Smyrna Beach, and it exceeded every expectation! The service was truly exceptional—warm, attentive, and made us feel right at home. The food was outstanding and full of flavor. I had the Cuban sandwich, and hands down, it’s probably the best one I’ve ever had in my life—perfectly pressed, packed with tender slow-roasted pork, and that "made with love" sauce was incredible! My son loved his Maiwi Burger, and our granddaughter was thrilled with her hot dog cooked exactly to order. Everything tasted fresh, homemade, and made with real care. We even had a lovely chat with Maiwi herself—she’s such a warm, genuine lady who clearly pours her heart into this place. It’s a hidden gem tucked away (behind the cigar lounge on Flagler Ave), but absolutely worth seeking out. We’ll definitely be back soon—highly recommend for families or anyone craving authentic Latin fusion in NSB. Thank you, Maiwi and team, for a fantastic experience

Ninjanugets123A cozy, tucked away kitchen run through a window by a charismatic and warm chef is the perfect meal for New Smyrna beach-goers wanting a taste of latin 💥flavour 💥! We got the mini-cubano, fried yucca, black bean soup, and pastelitos de guyaba y queso. The cubano stands out from many others i have had; the pernil is roasted low and slow overnight, resulting in a very juicy pork that shines alongside the other traditional fillings. The cheese was melted to the perfect texture and the bread was so crisp. The fried yucca had a somewhat different texture than what I expected, but it was crisp, cooked all the eay through, and delicious nonetheless. We enjoyed the vegetarian-friendly black bean soup a lot too. The pastelitos are baked to order and a delight; the guava oozes out as molten fruit sugar and the cheese like creamy clouds. It's not easy to run a kitchen day-in and day-out, and you can taste that the owner puts her whole heart into the food. Please support this small business, i guarantee that you will not regret it.

GabriellaMaiwi's will be my new go-to spot in New Smyrna Beach! The food is delicious, fresh, comforting, and warm. The pastries were made fresh and I could taste the dedication put into them. Highly recommend the yucca fries and cuban sandwich. The owner is lovely as well. Her hospitality and gracious welcome made us feel at ease and happy to be dining here. I hope to be a repeat customer and I encourage anyone is the area to check this spot out!

vi chiBest Cuban sandwich ever!!!! Melts in your mouth. The guava pastry is amazing and the empanadas AMAZING. We were greeted right away with a smile, seated on a gorgeous patio and the rest, well the amazing food!!!❤️ Come and see for yourself!
