Halloween Trick or Treat Community Open House / Canal Street Nights

This once-a-year Halloween celebration transforms the museum galleries into a frightfully fun trick-or-treat adventure filled with candy, surprises, and plenty of Halloween spirit. Our amazing museum volunteer team will create a spooky walk-through experience featuring multiple trick-or-treat stations where little ghosts, goblins, superheroes, and princesses can fill their bags with treats.

Enjoy festive photo opportunities, themed areas, and just the right amount of haunted fun—all designed to be family-friendly and enjoyable for visitors of every age.

The fun doesn’t stop at the museum! Take a stroll down historic Canal Street and experience the sights, sounds, and excitement of the season as local merchants, art galleries, and vendors embrace fall and celebrate the unofficial end of summer. Costumes, candy, community, and Halloween fun—it’s a night you won’t want to miss!
