JayIt’s definitely on a much modern side, nice and small with 5 gates, and 4 airline partners. However, you know Embry-Riddle and 4 other flight schools operate at the airport too, therefore it’s busy and sometimes congested with Cessna 172s and general aviation aircraft’s. This airport doesn’t have many shops, but it has plenty of seating and wide hallways. Outside where drop-off/ pick-up is at there is lots of nature and wide sidewalks and walking paths.

A-TrainThis is my favorite airport ever. Even before I had TSA precheck it was literally 5 minutes from parking to gate. These days I show up 30 minutes before boarding and still have plenty of time. These days airport is also very clearly backed by NASCAR money or something because it is absolutely beautiful. High ceilings, lots of natural light, clean throughout. There are only 6 gates so there isn’t a lot of food options, but honestly, this isn’t an issue since you don’t have to plan for a lot of time prior to boarding. And the options they do have are more than adequate for what the airport is.

LexThe easiest airport to fly through. So fast and everyone working is always kind and pleasant. So glad they added JetBlue this past year too. Takes 15 minutes (or less) to check your bag, go through security, and get to your gate.

Larry PoleyeffWonderful airport to fly out of. Short line through TSA. Arrived 2 hours before flight. Was checked in and at the gate in 20 minutes. No hassles.
