One of the most popular beach access ramps in Volusia County, Flagler Avenue Beach Ramp is a hub of activity from sunrise and to sunset. Early risers enjoy coffee by the beach. Later in the day, picnickers dine under the pavilion. Amenities include a pavilion, a brick courtyard, restrooms, showers and off-beach parking. There is a $20 parking fee from 9 a.m. - 5 p.m. Parking is free for Volusia County residents with a City of New Smyrna Beach Parking Pass. The park is located at the east end of Flagler Avenue. Overnight parking is not permitted. Beach wheelchairsFor persons needing assistance, beach wheelchairs are available for use at Flagler Avenue lifeguard stations. There is a limited supply, and they are available first come, first served at no charge. People can check them out from a lifeguard station and use them for a couple of hours, depending on the waiting list.
