Melissa MawaniMet up with a friend for lunch today. The parking lot is small but the security guys working outside were ever so helpful, friendly and guided us to make parking more efficient. I was not aware there was no AC inside, it was a very warm day and there was a very slight breeze but overcast which saved us, however it was still very hot inside. The service was good. I waited for a friend for about 20 minutes at a table I was lucky to find since they were busy and was brought water and offered to order a drink and an appetizer if I desired. The rum runner was good. The waiter was super nice however i don't think he introduced himself by name. I ordered the fried fish and potato salad instead of fries. Let me say both were absolutely delicious but I was super disappointed by the portion size. When the plate arrived both my friend and i took a double take. Neither one of us could believe it. One piece of fish and a very small side of potato salad, maybe a 2-3 ounce cup . I wish there was at least 2 pieces of fish. I'm a very small person and I left hungry unfortunately. My friend said her burger , fries and coleslaw were all very good and the portion size was appropriate. When the waiter checked on us after the meals were delivered to see if everything looked ok , I said to him that i had expected there to be a larger portion of fish and he said nothing, then walked away. I did not want to press the issue due to meeting a long time friend so I let it go. Overall the lunch was decent, the prices were good , and staff was friendly but portion size of this meal in particular needs adjusting. This was my first time here , unsure if ill be back.
