SibylleL 4 out of 5 stars★★★★☆We have been here many times because the atmosphere outside is very nice and it is suitable for having a drink. Inside the air is not good and it smells bad. The food also leaves a lot to be desired. The shrimp were not cleaned, which meant we had to remove the intestines. Once we had fried calamari with only breading left. The fish dip, on the other hand, was delicious. The service was always very attentive and friendly. Well, to sum up we will definitely be back!

Glenn Steinberg 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★My pal and popular FL champion surfer David Hettel and I went here for grinds today. Incredibly nice waiter & waitresses. The beers were cold and fresh.... The New Smyrna oysters were a nice treat... My French onion soup was great...but David didn't think the empanadas should have been so very spicy! But he didn't complain...

Keeping up with The Joneses 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★If you haven’t been to Flagler Tavern… are you even doing New Smyrna right, or just wasting perfectly good weekends? Let’s get one thing straight, the real headliner here is Jane at the front door. Yes, technically “security,” but in reality? She’s the real-life Beth Dutton if Beth had a Red Bull, zero patience, and a side hustle in humbling people. Jane is feral (in the most iconic way) and not putting up with anyone’s nonsense. Step out of line and she’ll fix your attitude before you even make it past the door. I’m not even kidding, this woman has a FAN CLUB. People show up just to see Jane. Not the band. Not the bar. Jane. It’s dinner and a show and you haven’t even walked inside yet. Fair warning, this place gets PACKED. Friday and Saturday nights are a full send situation because it’s one of the most popular spots around. Live music, dancing, and a crowd that fully commits to having a good time. Once you survive the Jane Experience™ (and pass her vibe check), the place delivers. The tavern staff is awesome shoutout to Calvin & Kayla as well, vibe is always friendly, even when it’s absolute chaos. They somehow keep everything running smoothly like it’s no big deal. And let’s talk about the shark bowls… because these are not drinks, they are a life decision. It’s a legit fishbowl with gummy sharks floating around in some mysterious electric blue liquid that will take you to a different level spiritually, emotionally, and probably the next morning too. You don’t sip it, you sign a contract with it. And the food? Way better than it has any right to be for a place where people are dancing like rent is due. You come for Jane, stay for the vibes, and leave questioning your choices, but in a fun way. Oh, and if you haven’t made your way upstairs to the Bounty yet… what are you doing? It’s giving hidden speakeasy, Bonnie and Clyde energy like you just unlocked a secret level. Low lighting, cool vibes, slightly “are we allowed to be up here?” energy in the best way. Highly recommend. Just remember: behave yourself. Jane already has enough to deal with, and she will absolutely put you in your place, with style 😂 -The Joneses

Ben Tang 4 out of 5 stars★★★★☆Nice lively spot in NSB. Great outdoor deck to people watch. the smashburger was two thin burger patties but definitely NOT a smashburger. Ya gotta grill it a certain way. Underwhelming and dry. Just read their menu description. It was nothing like that 😅 Smash Burger $16.00 Tavern’s signature Smash Burger is pressed or “smashed” onto a hot griddle to create a crispy crust and a juicy center, served with savory caramelized onions and our Tavern Smash Sauce. Beer selection is OK nothing spectacular. Sweet potato fries were good.
