TURTLE MOUND WALK- Apollo District
THURSDAY – 1ST, 15TH, 22ND& 29TH 10:00 AM “TURTLE MOUND WALK” - We will gather at the Turtle Mound parking area to discuss one of the largest shell middens in the nation and what life was like for the people who called this place home for thousands of years. We will review how the mounds of the area were used and walk to the top of the mound. (30 min.)
