FINALLY!!!!!! I made it into Gatto’s Family Deli YAY! I know everyone in my feed has raved & now it was our turn to try this amazing-ness! We did a little taste test spree to try various items So lets start! First: The Tuscan sammy........good Lord there must be 2 pounds of meat! Thin sliced mortadella, burrata, house pesto & pistachios on their homemade bread baked fresh this morning! TO DIE FOR! I placed the butter dish next to it to show you the height of this baby! Pizza: White pizza with bacon and a slice of traditional cheese...so crispy and fresh!!! From the ready-to-go deli case: Sweet Italian sausage with peppers & onions that literally took me back to my childhood in NY. My mom LOVED this Hot & ready Lentil, sausage & broccoli Raub soup- exactly what I am eating in its entirety as I type. I am a huge soup snob growing up in snowstorms & this is the real deal! Seafood salad: NOT FROM A BAG! So very fresh & flavorful- I cant wait to eat it all, definitely a FAV!!!! Antipasti salad: Again, fresh & full of the perfect mix of ingredients- My mom was in her glory. Last but not least: Beet salad with goat cheese, I am not a beet person- one of the few things I haven't yet grown a pallet for but my mom is obsessed and says it's absolutely wonderful and light! I am beyond satisfied as is my daughter and mother (a 78-yr old Italian who will critique down to the sprinkle of garlic lol) Don't walk, run! Supplies are until they are sold out in many cases; which is great in my opinion because you know that it is fresh daily and made with love and care! WE WILL BE REGULARS!! Buon appetito!

Awesome place! Being able to text your order in is awesome. Order ahead if you can, they can sell out of some items. Friendly staff. The food is tasty and fairly priced. The chicken vodka parm sandwich is insane and massive. I was shocked at the size. The pesto chicken pasta salad and the summer melon salad were excellent as well. Especially that summer melon salad, it's super refreshing on a hot Florida summer day. The Pistachio cannoli was just...wow. I am not normally a big cannoli fan but this might be the best cannoli ever. Great flavor balance. I'll definitely be back again. Next time I'm trying the Italian sub and a pizza. Try Gatto's out, you won't regret it!

Second time ordering a pizza, both times were great. High quality and fresh. The sub was a one of the highest quality sandwiches ive had. Stoked you guys are in my town!!! Thanks for the goods! Will be back often!

OK, I just discovered this new jewel in Edgewater and New Smyna beach, what a find! Stopped in today at lunch and picked up a meatball sub that was delicious, just had their stuffed peppers with short rib, rice, cheese and tomato sauce on the side, outstanding! Had a loaf of their homemade bread and two Pizza slices that were perfect, not over sauced, outstanding crust. Edgewater, New Smyrna, Oak Hill y’all are lucky! John and Sally

Some places don't just serve great food...they serve their community. ❤️ A huge shoutout to Gatto's Family Deli! We have been so blessed to have them as part of our Liberty Oaks Academy family. From surprising our staff with the creamiest homemade rice pudding and absolutely incredible tiramisu, to treating our teachers to lunch with some of the best Italian subs we've ever had, everything they make is filled with care. The pizza has that perfect light, flavorful crust, and every bite of their sandwiches is packed with fresh ingredients and bold, authentic Italian flavor. What stands out even more than the food is the heart behind the people. Their kindness and generosity have made our school family feel so appreciated.
