Eric HawksStarting with the front desk... Annie and Karen were amazing.... Skylar was phenomenal with our kids with games and more, with Shirley and Holly doing a wonderful job with the rooms. Yes the keep hearing on renovations but there for the view and beach. They keep the place clean. Thank You to the whole staff for making our stay truly one to remember- Eric

Stefanie MontgomeryWe have been coming every year for 48 years. I love the Islander and always will but the rooms are in desperate need of renovation. The beds and sofas are very uncomfortable. We will continue to come as it feels like our second home. We would love to see our favorite place updated to meet the times.

golfview estates bodI've owned at the islander for over 35 years It's like coming home every year. The rooms aren't luxurious but the pool, the beach, the location are great. Plenty of fine places to eat here in New Smyrna.

Karen PogueBeen coming for 25 years and this is the first time I would complain. The rooms are very updated. Closet where shelves used to be were literally ripped out and all the supports are still hanging on the wall of the closet. Bed sheets looked like they hadn’t been changed Beds old blankets with an hole in it and spreads. Unit was dirty dusty. Furniture was stained no coffee table. 3 hangers in 3 closets asked for more got 5 more Windows are dirty Kitchen cookie sheets has old food old them.

Ernesto GalindezEven that is a shared room the women on the front desk were rude except for Karen but the other one was like working in a horror house. The cleaning of the room terrible when we arrived. Still rest of food on the microwave and behind the toilet. In the room the mattress are Horrible and uncomfortable, hardly could sleep. The only good thing was the location in front of the beach
