I'm a chicken lover. Came across this place by reaching new places. We'll be back. Now down to the dinner. Chicken was broasted, cooked to perfection. Chrispy and cooked wonderful not greasy at all. Collared greans true southern style. Mashed potatoes and gravy. And the honey buns, don't get me started. Michael was great and talked to us about the history. Like I said, we'll be back.

When I say this was the best fried chicken I’ve ever had, I am not exaggerating. The owner was working the counter and shared that it’s his grandmother’s recipe—and you can absolutely taste the love in it. Perfectly crispy outside that is seasoned to perfection , juicy tender meat, and literally finger-licking good. My mom had the pulled pork and it was fantastic as well—tender, flavorful, and just as memorable. This is the kind of food that makes you want to come back again and again. To bad I don’t live here!

Craig, the owner and mastermind behind the menu is wholesome and makes some amazing food! The fried chicken is incredible every time, never over cooked and perfectly seasoned. The greens are the best I’ve had from any restaurant, ever. The mashed potatoes with gravy always hit and somehow even the green beans taste like they were made with love. You literally can’t go wrong with anything on the menu, every time we order the quality is consistently perfect and you’re always greeted with a smile. I love supporting local businesses, love it even more when it tastes this good. If you haven’t tried Chicken shack yet, what are you waiting for???
