Stevie HardemonHaven on Canal has been one of the best complexes I’ve had the pleasure to live in. Will Jackson has been one of the best apartment managers I could ask for and has been wonderful working with me and my husband. I am happy to call this place my home and plan on renewing my lease when the time comes. I would highly recommend this complex (and have) to anyone looking for a place in New Smyrna that is nice, quiet and clean and very close to all the fun tourist destinations.

Isabel BattisteHaven On Canal is the first place I got as I moved from Indiana. At first, everything felt good because it was my first place I got by myself as a young adult. I didn't mind not having in-unit laundry, only having 2 windows, I didn't even mind my minuscule kitchen that has a half stove (I could go on about the half-ass fixing of the walls and such—the landlord special, but I’ll spare) Will Jackson was very kind, welcoming, and helpful through the process. I moved in September of 2024, so right in the peak of Hurricane season. Every time it rains it floods the parking lot. Last year, the hurricane that hit here was more big gusts of wind than rain, and this apartment complex was flooded. It makes me feel bad for the tenants that move in downstairs because they are just going to get flooded out. Then they are going to renovate all the downstairs apartments to look appealing, raise the rent a little, and the same thing will happen to the next tenants that move in. The location is great, and the flooding isn’t necessarily their fault with all the new developments. However, the parking lot is definitely a fixable issue. This is just my experience here, and I would not personally live here again, but it served what I needed when I was first moving out on my own.
