C C 4 out of 5 stars★★★★☆The server was awesome, but the food and drinks, not so much. My smoked brisket was tough. The waffle batter was doughy and the chicken breading was very thick and not very hot or crispy. The jambalaya was pretty underwhelming. We ordered 2 different specialty coffee cocktails, but they tasted identical.

Michelle Spanos 4 out of 5 stars★★★★☆A great place for some great food. Located on Canal you can’t beat exiting a meal here onto the cutest Main Street around. The atmosphere is great with laughs and a bit of the outside being brought in with the open air seating outside. Inside you’ll find good mix of the bar area with tvs playing your teams game but also not overbearing screens everywhere. I usually get the Odd Bird sandwich because it’s soooo yummy and makes for great leftovers The bread board is to die for but this last visit I got appetizers and dessert!!! The bourbon pecan pie with ice cream hit the spot. Delicious crust and sweetness for days. A must stop for your date night, your solo dinner out or a family meal.

Tracey James 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★We have been here a number of times now and all I can say this is one of our favorite places to eat. So much so we drive from Ormond Beach. That within itself is the reason for the 5 star review. Great food and great service! Not only are the great, they are consistent. Ask for Hannah to be your server. If I could give her or this establishment more than 5 stars I would.

Joseph Paparella 4 out of 5 stars★★★★☆We grabbed seats at the outside bar, played cards, and had a perfect view into the lively interior. There was live music, and they turned on the propane heaters and overhead electric heaters, making it comfortably warm. Our server, Edward, was fantastic. Friendly, funny, and very attentive. He kept our waters full, checked in often. We started with the Breads and Spreads, which included a rustic baguette, German pretzel stick, and house Florida sweet cornbread with garlic herb truffle butter, pimento cheddar spread, and raw local honey butter. It paired beautifully with our wine, though the “truffle” butter leaned more toward rosemary than truffle. For entrées, we split the pulled pork sandwich and the smoked brisket sandwich. The pulled pork with Carolina gold mustard sauce and napa slaw on a brioche bun was excellent, and we upgraded to the truffle fries. The brisket had good flavor but was a bit undercooked in spots with noticeable fat, which works better on a plate than in a sandwich, so we ended up pulling the meat out to trim it and skipping the bun. Overall, solid food, a great atmosphere, and outstanding service. We will definitely be back.

Sophia Majesky 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Since I’ve heard so many good things about this restaurant, we took family visiting us from SC to The General Public House for dinner tonight. I was able to make a last minute reservation for four. Let me start by saying their menu is excellent. Our drinks were great, especially the expreso martini. We ordered the Florida lobster bisque and tatanka wings as appetizers. We had GPH award winning ribs, smoked salmon dinner, pulled pork sandwich with sweet potato waffle fries, caesar salad, and house salad. We brought bourbon pecan pie and peanut butter pie home for dessert. We all highly recommend this restaurant! The food and service was spectacular. We will be going back for dinner soon!
