Joshua HaidleSuper cool cafe! Stopped in just to check out the place and grab a coffee to go. They use steel oak coffee beans and their coffee was 10/10 amazing! The place is cozy and the staff were really welcoming, the owner was there and I had the pleasure of speaking with him for a while too. I’m excited to go back and try the food, the menu was european style and looks absolutely fantastic. Perfect little edition to downtown new smyrna beach!

Dawson J. ShumanFantastic space. One of the best espressos and croissants I’ve had in a while. It was the last one in the case and was as if it was fresh from the past 20 minutes. I cannot wait to come back and have lunch. The no laptop policy (that is clearly posted at the entrance) after 11am is fantastic and the reasoning behind it is splendid. Enjoy the space and the immaculate items the restaurant has to offer. Sit in the moment and enjoy. I am so glad I came in just after 11am and saw this because it made me sit and really take in how brilliant the items I ordered were. The staff were perfectly attentive and the service was spectacular. Cheers to the owners, you have gained a customer for life.

Ayumi Artistry StudioI’m glad to see a European-style café on Canal Street. Bricks has a cozy interior with exposed brick and comfortable seating that gives it a warm café feel. We tried sandwiches, soup, and a cream-filled pastry. Everything was nicely prepared, and the pastry stood out. It’s a good spot for a casual lunch if you’re walking around Canal Street.
