S CWe very much enjoyed our weekend stay at the Black Dolphin Inn earlier this month. The room was clean, comfortable bed, and we enjoyed our own personal balcony overlooking the intercoastal waterway. The staff was very friendly and welcoming. Breakfast was delicious; while we enjoyed having breakfast brought to our room it was nice to have the option to enjoy breakfast in the lobby area or the front patio. The location is convenient to the downtown area as well as the beach. We would love to stay here again.

Joy Graybush5 stars ! I think it’s more like 10 stars. The staff were exceptionally nice. The location was perfect. The rooms were clean and inviting. The breakfast was wonderful. Thank you Jason! Sharon greeted us. Showing us to our room and where to park. She explained everything and gave us a great restaurant recommendation. I felt at home. We set on the 2nd floor porch and watch the dolphin feed in the evening. We walked into Canal Street for a little shopping and drove over to the beach. It was a relaxing 2 days. Thank you for your hospitality.

Brady ParkerThe cleanest Inn we have ever stayed at. Our room was very comfortable including the bed. The views were spectacular with dolphins playing all day just outside of our balcony. The place is 5 mins from the beach and walking distance to the most quaint downtown. The staff was amazing, friendly and helpful. The chef prepared a delicious breakfast for us and coffee is always available. If you are going anywhere near New Smyrna, you must stay at the Black Dolphin.

My kids enjoyed the garden in the back so much with the fairy lights, and I enjoyed the endless tea and coffee you can have sitting out there in comfortable chairs watching your family have fun. Then just in the river across the street are dolphins and manatees to spot. The Inn is managed so nicely, the beds are soooo comfortable and cool, It’s walking distance to the high street and lovely restaurants and a very good playground just under the causeway. Highly recommend!

Robin NottageWe chose Black Dolphin Inn based on the reviews, and I am so pleased we did. From the moment we arrived, the experience was exceptional. The staff was incredibly knowledgeable, warm, and professional. Every interaction felt intentional and genuine. Our room was absolutely stunning. The photos online don’t even come close to capturing the level of detail, comfort, and design. And the bed? Easily one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. One of the highlights was breakfast. You can schedule your time and choose to have a freshly prepared meal delivered to your room or served outside. We chose the front patio and it turned into a moment I won’t forget. Sitting there, enjoying a beautiful breakfast while watching dolphins play in the water…it was so peaceful, effortless, and unforgettable. What was originally just a stop on our way back to North Carolina from Miami has now turned into something much more. This beautiful inn didn’t just meet expectations, it left a lasting impression. We’ll absolutely be back, but next time, it will be the destination.
