Charles Johnson 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Absolutely awesome! We were able to get fitted for and rent all necessary gear for our first dive. Mark walked us through the online video training and prepped us for what to expect. We met at DeLeon Springs and dove with Mark and Chris. They were both great. Very patient. They never rushed anything and communicated well. 100% reccomend!

Michael W. Newman 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★*glub-glub* 🫧🤿 "Heyba youba wabba scuba?!" 🫧 Meet the ladies Michele & Co. at Discover Diving Center, the pre-eminent offering for PADI Scuba training and connections to licensed dive operations in Central Florida and beyond. Just come on in, ask your questions -- always so much to learn, everywhere! -- and begin to understand why those working in the scuba industry know it well as their one personal passion, more than a cash multiplier. Yes, it's a costly sport when going beyond simply snorkling. And there exists no trial dabbling in it over a long-weekend vacay. The required time, finances, and physical commitment are a heavy lift. Unfortunately also, as for many of life's outlier pleasures, youth factors in unduly. Mental and physical acumen must be high to lessen the potentials for harm. Since 1975, I have enjoyed my several occasions being deep in Le Grande Bleu while visiting several tropical locales, the last of which was Christmas 2004 in Playa del Carmen. While my reverie palpably returned with me walking into her well-appointed dive shop, Michele reminded me openly of the concerns above, and that retraining from zero will be mandatory. #DeflatedHeart Will I take it up again? Possibly. Depending on where I set myself next. Keeping now newly in mind that past thrill, mystery, awe and wonder to be, silently under the sea, in an octopus' garden... 🫧🤿🫧 {Open 6days/closed Wednesdays, full-service tank fill and equipment rental, women owned & operated for 16+ years.}

Jennifer Tourville 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★I just finished my Open Water certification with Jay, and it was an amazing experience! He was patient, encouraging, and knowledgeable. He took the time to make sure I understood everything. I was definitely nervous getting in the water for the first time, but he helped me relax and feel confident in what I learned. I absolutely recommend Jay to anyone considering getting certified. Thank you, Jay, for such an awesome experience! I can't wait to get back in the water!

Sarah A 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Went to Divers direct for my open water scuba cert. I had the instructor Jay Black and I highly recommend him. He was very thorough and made sure I understood each skill and even the ones I struggled with he would have good tips and ensure everything is done properly. He was very patient and I really appreciate the insights and gear recommendations. I will definitely be back to this shop for more certifications and gear in the future. Thank you for a great scuba experience!

Hannah Clarke 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Been wanting to get my SCUBA cert for a while now, and finally did it! The shop is very welcoming and Michelle was able to answer all my questions over the phone and get signed up easily. Jason Black was my instructor and does a great job! He goes above and beyond with our training and actually helped me plan a dive and printed out dive logs for us to go over and fill out. Divemaster's Abby & Chris also joined in & were very professional and helpful. Gear provided for the course is a BCD, air tanks, carry bag, regulator, wetsuit, dive pressure/depth gauges, and weights. You'll need to provide your own snorkel, fins, and mask. "Pool" training is done in a local spring (I went to DeLeon Springs) and last day we did Devils Den. Training is split 2 weekends. The dive shop has everything you need to get started.
