tina loweryThis was the first time we visited New Smyrna Beach. I was pleasantly surprised by how absolutely beautiful it was! The town was so beautiful and well manicured. The white sand was gorgeous, and the beach itself was well maintained. There was no garbage left by visitors. The dunes were well preserved, and the ocean was gorgeous! The emerald water was mesmerizing. The beach had plenty of visitors. But it wasn't overcrowded, and everyone was respectful of others as well as taking responsibility to ensure they didn't leave trash behind. We didn't have the opportunity to visit any restaurants, but I saw plenty that looked like a place that I want to next time I visit. This is definitely in the top three beaches in Florida, and although this was my first visit, it definitely won't be my last!

Ocala HandymanNew Smyrna is one of my favorite beaches in FL. One of 2 places(that I know of) where you can drive on the beach. 10/10 definitely recommend.
