Charissa CalhounMy husband, daughter, and I booked our stay through Booking(dot)com while meeting up with family who were staying nearby. If you’re expecting a brand-new luxury beachfront resort, this probably isn’t the place for you. However, if you’re looking for an affordable beachfront stay with character and an unbeatable location, we’d definitely recommend giving it a chance. Our first impression wasn’t perfect. Since there isn’t staff on-site, getting into our room took a little longer than expected. Our first room also wasn’t as clean as we had hoped, and we didn’t receive all of the bedding we needed. After reaching out, the owner and staff were responsive and worked to make things right, which we really appreciated. Parking was limited but manageable during our stay. The rooms were comfortable overall, although the bathrooms could use some updating and a little extra TLC. It’s an older property, and while it isn’t luxurious, it has a charm that many of the large chain hotels don’t. The best part was the location. We were literally just steps from the beach with a private gated beach access right next to the pool, which was exactly what we were looking for. We always felt safe during our stay, and the other guests were friendly and enjoying their vacations as well. We had a wonderful family trip here, and for the price, we felt it was a good value. You can tell the owner is working to improve the property, and we truly hope they continue investing in it because it has so much potential. We’d be happy to come back in the future and look forward to seeing the improvements over time.

marielaStayed in room 116 steps from the beautiful sand. Host was super attentive. Updated room with king bed, living room with sofa (not sofa bed) but was comfortable to sleep on. Kitchen with two burner however it only holds two very small pots to be able to use both at the same time. Ice cold widow units. Exterior porch needs work, could not use it fully. Pool was cloudy and lots of sand in it. Did not use it. Will definitely book again.

Stuart TennentDropped into CW to visit friends staying there and the complex is definitely looking its age. Some rooms were nicely fitted and decorated but others were tired and in need of refurbishment. I'm told the pool was warm and I could see the site was kept clean so thats good.

Jessica AllenGreat spot right by the beach and perfect for a couple. Loved the setup and bed. The pool was also refreshing. Staff great too and very responsive. Also offered an early check-in and late checkout.
