Comms756 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★5 stars all the way around! Came in early in the morning to have an infected cyst evaluated, and the staff were very friendly and supportive! Dr. Riga was FANTASTIC with what he did, he drained the cyst with no complications and was extremely gentle with the procedure!! I thank the staff who helped me and would recommend anyone with complications to not hesitate to go here, you will be in the best hands you could ever be in! Thank you Advent Health!!

Ken Cox 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★I had a same day surgery procedure done at Advent New Smyrna Beach yesterday, June 23, 2026. If I could give more than 5 stars I would. The experience was beyond what I would have imagined or expected. Everyone I came in contact with was helpful, pleasant and caring. A special thank you and shout out to the nurses that prepared me for surgery, Amy, Sara, Bonnie and Cindy. The Nurse Leader, Lynn was very helpful as well. Dr. Oelrich is my nephrologist who has led me through my ongoing problems. She is simply the best. My pain initially was close to a maximum and now it is gone. Thank you to the entire team at Advent.

Wade Day 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Doctor Browning who performed the surgery and the entire staff at Advent from the office, to check in, the CNA’s to the RN’s and Dena were absolutely wonderful. I type this as I’m in pain but they are worth it. 😊 Thank you all again!

Tracy Carroll 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Unfortunately, I’ve had many hospital stays in my life, and I can say, with absolutely no hesitation, that my 4 day stay at this hospital was the hands down best hospital experience I’ve ever had. The staff was incredible, from their care and concern, their knowledge, communication, compassion, and kindness set them far above other hospitals. My caretakers Anu, John, Laura, Rudy, Liz, McKenzie, Taylor, Navi, Makailah (sp?), Ms Jean, Dr. G, and Dr. Weller, and many whose names I just don’t recall, were far above and beyond what I would consider the standard for hospital care. From the moment I walked in, and reception and security immediately got me in a wheelchair and got me in to triage, to the ER nurses and techs, to admission, to my nurses and techs, to the vampires that took blood so sweetly, the specialists, Patient Experience staff, Food Services, The Custodial Staff, and every single person that was part of my care, I can’t say thank you enough, or recommend you highly enough.

Direne Ostrander 5 out of 5 stars★★★★★Edit 5 months later: Although my initial review stands regarding the infusion room at oncology, I change my 1 star to 5, after going through the ER and ICU. The care which we received and the enormous efforts of staff giving their ALL, has left me without adequate words to describe our experience. And this was not only for my sick husband, but they treated me with such compassion that I often wanted to cry. Thank you to all of the staff, doctors, nurses, techs, even the sweet ladies who came to clean. I would not want to be hospitalized anywhere else, should the need ever arise. Edit 1 month later: Excellent communication from AdventHealth. They have gone as far as acknowledging my complaints in a certified letter and letting us know they will do their best to give us priority seating, which they have done at every follow-up infusion. I applaud them trying to help where needed, but unfortunately my star-rating remain, until they can help those people who suffer without being vocal. I say get some home renovation show involved! They will know which walls to knock down and what lighting to install to help even the worst setup feel better. My admiration to ALL staff remains the same. I thank each and every AdventHealth staff member for their kindness towards their patients and caregivers. ❤️ So far, I had nothing bad to say about AdventHealth. Facilities, staff and treatments have been top notch. That is until my husband got cancer and we got to the infusion part. I'm sitting with for his second chemo and I'm appalled at the lack of comfort you given to patients and more so, the people who genuinely love them and take care of them before they die. I'm sitting in the middle of the floor, on a normal low-back chair. The waiting room has better chairs than this!!! I have my feet propped between his legs on the comfy chairs the patients get, because it seems caregivers are discouraged from support at this area. Does anyone realize how agitated a 200 lb man gets when he is told he is dying, and unable to do this alone? We have received so much wonderful support here, that I want to cry at the lack of care when it comes to something as important as infusions. We are supposed to have immunotherapy for the rest of his life (2 years) and if I could let go of all these overwhelming feelings, I would surely burst into tears for having to sit in everyone's way, under the brightest most clinical lights, straight up for many hours. We were here 6 hours last week and today 2. Although I would advise anyone to use AdventHealth for medical services (ER is fantastic), I would tell them to look and see if another hospital has better infusion rooms than New Smyrna Beach.
